I don’t think Jesse (aka “Jesse Jane”) needs any introduction. The woman is a living legend within the porn industry and one of the most popular adult film stars of all time. While she’s still best known for the string of best selling porn films that she did for Digital Playground, those days are behind her.
Today, she is known simply as Jesse (DP actually owns the rights to the name “Jesse Jane”) and is under contract with Jules Jordan Video. To date, she’s starred in two films from the studio; Jesse: Alpha Female and Jesse: Sex Machine. With each of these releases, we’ve seen Jesse do things that she’s never done before. And there’s a lot more to come from this XXX superstar.
I recently had the chance to ask Jesse a few questions and here’s how that went…
Die-Screaming: Now that you’re several months removed from all of that Digital Playground drama, how are things going for you?
Jesse: Everything has been so amazing! Couldn’t be happier.
You’ve said that one of your goals in signing with Jules Jordan Video was to try some things that you’d been held back from doing earlier in your career. Do you have a “porn bucket list” of things you want to do or is it more of just saying “yes” or “no” to things as they come up?
I don’t really have a bucket list, but I did want to try some new things and not be so cookie cutter. I finally did two guys at once. That was fun and I have a secret in my next movie, but I can’t spoil it.
Beyond your current contract with Jules Jordan Video, do you have any longer term goals within porn?
I want to stay in it as long as I’m having fun! And I do want to write my book.
Speaking of your Jules Jordan Video contact, when should we expect your next film?
I’m finishing shooting one as we speak.
As someone who’s been in the industry for years, what are your thoughts on the current state of porn? Are there any trends that your excited about or disappointed with?
I think porn has changed big time. It’s sad to watch the industry struggle with all the free tube sites. It’s sad and disappointing.
Beyond performing, do you have any interest in expanding into things like directing or producing?
I mean, not really because I don’t want to put in all the work just to have someone steal it.
Anyone who follows you on social media knows that you travel quite a bit. What are some of your favorite places to visit?
I love France, Australia, Bora Bora, so many places.
Random question, but what have been some of your favorite non-porn films of 2015?
I love watching movies, it’s my favorite thing ever! I loved Southpaw. That movie was so good and I’ve seen so many movies so it’s hard to pick some.
Being that you’re one of the most recognizable and popular pornstars on Earth, is it hard for you to just go out and do normal things without being swarmed by people?
Yes, I get recognized everywhere I go, but my fans are so cool it doesn’t bother me. I like it. They’re the reason I am who I am.
Heading into 2016, what are some of your goals and what should we be looking forward to seeing from you?
Maybe I’ll finally start writing that book…
