While it was released over twelve years ago, Island Fever 3 remains one of the most popular porn films of this generation. In fact, it ranks as the fourth best-selling XXX movie of all time (as of this writing, anyway). And for good reason; This is one of the hottest fucking dirty movies ever produced.
That’s a bold statement, but one that I believe is 100% balls-on accurate.
If you are one of the literally millions of people who’ve seen this movie, I don’t need to explain this to you. Because anyone who’s seen Island Fever 3 will readily attest that it is one of those legendary smut movies that friends pass along to all of their friends and a staple in every XXX connoisseur’s collection.
But for those poor damned souls who’ve somehow managed to achieve adulthood and not see it, allow me to explain what makes Island Fever 3 so goddamn special. I’ll start with the obvious; This is a hardcore porn movie that stars Jesse Jane (ranked by Die-Screaming as one of the 10 best XXX starlets of the 2000s), Tera Patrick and Devon. Each of these ladies are Hall of Fame performers who have legions of die-hard fans.
And all three of them perform in this movie together. And to add even more XXX heat to the mix, this film is the first time that Devon and Jesse Jane ever fucked each other. If for no other reason, this movie deserves to be an all-time best seller simply because of that.
Then there’s the production quality. Island Fever 3 is a visually stunning masterpiece. Directed by Joone (the same dude who helmed the Pirates porn movies) and filmed in the real-life island paradises of Borra Borra and Tahiti, there are very few dirty movies that can compare. I mean, how many XXX videos have you soon that feature rainforests, waterfalls and the exotic beaches as the backdrops?

In his review of the movie just after it was released, this is how XCritic’s Christopher Thorne summarized it…
Island Fever 3 finally brings together Digital Playground’s big contract performers in a film where you can really see them perform. From the scene with Devon and Jesse going at it together, to back to back scenes with Jesse and Devon with Eric Masterson you really get a good chance to ‘compare’ these performers. Robbie D is brilliant with his camera both in the solo scenes and with the sex. Island Fever 3 is shot magnificently, looks amazing and sounds fantastic – by far the best looking Adult DVD I’ve seen. The soundtrack is also worth noting, it’s dreamy, cool and it complements both the solo scenes and the sex scenes very well.
Personally, I’ve seen this movie probably ten times. At least. One of the reasons it’s so watchable is because even though it’s over a decade old at this point, Island Fever 3 still stands above nearly every other hardcore porn movie ever made, including those being produced today.
If you haven’t seen this movie yet, your life is a mess. And you are an asshole. And Jesus hates you.
