The XXX superstar says she’s done with all forms of sex work…
Gia Derza has made it official; She’s done with porn. In an announcement made across a series of posts to her Twitter account, Gia said that she made the decision to “retire from all sex work.” This news, while not entirely a surprise, will certainly be a downer for her considerable fanbase and close the curtain on what had been an elite-level XXX career.
Responding to a question from someone on Twitter, Derza provided some insight into her decision to retire from the hardcore adult business, saying…
Based on the above tweets, it’s pretty clear that Gia Derza no longer has any desire to continue shooting porn content and is ready to move on to whatever it is for her that comes next. And you know what? Good for her. Everybody has the right to change their career and their lives as they see fit and pornstars are no exception. Anyone who thinks otherwise or who feels the need to talk shit to or about Gia Derza for choosing to move on from porn can just go fuck all the way off.
Just appreciate the content that she’s gifted us with over the years and be happy for her as she continues on with her journey.
Who is Gia Derza?
Gia Derza is an American pornstar who has performed in well over 500 dirty movies going back to 2018. Over the years, she’s been a part of dozens of best-selling adult films and has either won or been nominated for nearly every major award the XXX industry has to offer. That would include three consecutive AVN Female Performer of the Year nods and winning the 2019 XRCO Best New Starlet trophy. Die-Screaming ranked her as being one of the Top 10 best female pornstars of 2021.
In terms of highlights, some of her best work was featured in movies such as Anal Size Queens (Evil Angel), Extreme Lesbian Anal (LesbianX) and Raw 33 (Jules Jordan Video). Perhaps her best work was also one of the last she did for a studio. At the tail end of 2021, Evil Angel released Gia, a film directed by Dana Vespoli that featured Gia Derza in four hardcore scenes. The film received multiple award nominations.
After she stopped shooting for studios, Gia continued to produce content for her Onlyfans account. And while she’s since deleted that, she says she’ll be keeping her Twitter account active, though she won’t be posting any kind of hardcore or softcore stuff there. As of this writing, Gia Derza has just over a quarter-million followers on Twitter.
