Adam & Eve will soon be releasing The Wife Watcher on DVD and this seems like a movie that’s worth some attention. A major reason behind me saying that has to do with the lineup of talent featured in this thing. On top of that, seeing Ernest Green credited as the director was something of a surprise. A good kind of surprise.
For those not familiar, Ernest Greene is a veteran pornographer who’s been making porn since 1990. I mentioned that I was surprised to see his name attached to this film and that’s because it’s been like six years since the last time I’ve seen him credited as a director. He’s probably best known for The Surrender of O, another Adam & Eve film that debuted back in 2008 and earned Mr. Greene an AVN Best Director nomination. It’s good to see him back in the director’s chair.

Casey Calvert is the star of The Wife Watcher, performing in three of the film’s four hardcore scenes. This is a good thing. Casey is absolutely one of the most talented women currently working in Porn. As a performer, she’s appeared in well over 800 dirty movies since 2012 and has earned dozens of major award nominations from the likes of AVN, XBIZ and XRCO. And as good as she is at performing…she might be even better as a director. Her film Primary Season 2 (Lust Cinema) was ranked by Die-Screaming as one of the ten best porn movies of 2021.
Savannah Bond is featured in two of the scenes in this thing and this should also be considered a positive. A native of Australia, Savanna has been showing up in XXX movies since 2019 and has been receiving a lot of attention lately for the content she’s been cranking out. Her recent showcase film — Savannah Bond Beach Bikini Slut (Evil Angel) — has received multiple award nods and was one of the best performer showcases of the past year. She’s already off to a strong start in 2022, with solid showings in such films as Anal Fabulous 2 (Evil Angel).
I’ve been writing about Mona Azar quite a bit, lately. Since 2020, Mona has performed in about 75 hardcore movies for a wide variety of studios and recently earned her first AVN Award nomination. If you are somehow as of yet unfamiliar with Mona’s work, I would suggest you go see what she did in such films as Dark Meat Frenzy (Jules Jordan Video), Bangers (Dark X) or, y’know…The Wife Watcher.
The men of The Wife Watcher are just as accomplished as the women. Michael Vegas is a damn legend who’s been in over 1,100 adult films since 2006 and has either won or been nominated for nearly every industry award ever created. Isiah Maxwell has been doing smut since 2012 and has over 1,800 XXX titles to his credit, is an XBIZ Male Performer of the Year award winner (2019) and was just ranked by Die-Screaming as being one of the 10 best Male Pornstars of 2021. And Codey Steele has nearly 1,000 dirty movies to his name and recently earned his fist AVN Male Performer of the Year nomination.
