Wicked Pictures is set to release the next Brad Armstrong XXX feature a few weeks from now. The movie is called “Takers” and tells a dark tale of a possible near-future in which medical care and insurance get so fucked up that organ theft becomes a booming business. And there’s also lots of blowjobs and sex.
And because this is a Brad Armstrong directed film, you should also fully expect Takers to earn a whole bunch of industry award nominations when those things are announced a few months from now.
Takers could be one of the best XXX movies of 2017…
Or, alternatively, it could be a big pile of steaming shit. I haven’t seen it yet so I don’t know.
However, I do know that this film has a whole lot going for it. As I already mentioned, this is a Brad Armstrong directed project and history says that he doesn’t make crappy movies. Case in point, he had two movies appear on Die-Screaming’s 10 Best Porn Movies of 2016 list; D.N.A. (#8) and Preacher’s Daughter (#1). Oh, and he also is a three-time AVN Director of the Year award winner.
Then there’s the cast. I’m not a smart man, but even I know that any porn movie that features Asa Akira, Ana Foxxx and Kleio Valentien on the cover is probably gonna be awesome. These ladies are among the best in the business and can any of you think of a scene in which one of them starred that wasn’t terrific? No. You can’t.
Add into the mix Ryan Driller, Xander Corvus and Derrick Pierce, three of the industry’s most talented male performers. In addition to each having had more sex than the populations of some US states, these dudes are also really good actors and shit.
Finally, Takers seems to be working with some high-minded themes. A story like that in the hands of a master director armed with an elite-level cast has all the makings of something capable of producing some very impressive cinema.
Takers will be released by Wicked Pictures on August 23rd…
