Release date announced for highly-anticipated Spartacus MMXII…
At long last, Spartacus MMXII: The Beginning is now available for pre-order. As I’ve been posting about repeatedly since learning of this project several months ago, Spartacus MMXII represents one of the most unique and exciting hardcore porn projects to come along in quite some time. Don’t believe me? Just go watch the damn trailer.
While it certainly has it’s fair share of sex scenes and a cast that literally reads like a who’s who of the hottest adult stars currently working in the industry, Spartacus MMXII offers much more than just that. The film also features professionally choreographed battle sequences and custom made, historically accurate sets, weapons, and costumes.
Currently set for a September 26th release date from Wicked Pictures, Spartacus MMXII: The Beginning is now available for pre-orders. The film stars and is directed by Marcus London and was a joint collaboration between London-Gunn and Miko Lee Productions, with distribution being handled by Wicked Pictures.
As mentioned above, Spartacus MMXII features an incredibly talented cast, including; Miko Lee, Gracie Glam, Tommy Gunn, Tanya Tate, Brad Armstrong, Jenna Presley, Devon Lee, India Summer, Andy San Dimas, and Marcus London in the title role of Spartacus.
Additionally, a professional fight choreographer was brought in to help create incredibly realistic and intense hand-to-hand combat scenes. As for the costumes and real, metal weapons, they were all fashioned by Marcus London and Tommy Gunn. As I said, this isn’t the type of porn film that we’re all used to seeing.
To give you a better idea of what to expect from Spartacus MMXII, allow me to quote from the back of the DVD case…
Spartacus (Marcus London) is captured and forced to fight to the death in the arena. After surviving the onslaught, he is sold to the Ludis of Batiatus (Tony de Sergio) where he is thrust into a world of sex and violence. He finds an unlikely ally in fellow slave Crixus (Tommy Gunn), as they are both expected to please Lucretia (Devon Lee). In addition to performing in depraved orgies, they must train to fight against the unbeaten giant Androcoles. Will they fall victim to the gladiator or will they prove victorious and earn their freedom? A sexual epic for the ages!
So why am I so excited about Spartacus MMXII? Because this is the type of porn that I want to see and see more of. Sex, violence, swords, and insanely hot women. And it’s made by people who actually care about the quality of work that they’re packaging up for us to buy. And unless you want to see more Jersey Shore porn parodies, I suggest we all take a few moments and invest a few dollars in some high quality, bad ass adult film awesomeness.
This, at least in my opinion, is the type of porn that’s worth paying for and (unfortunately) it’s not the type that comes around all that often.
