On paper, Pure Bush seems to have a lot going for it. It features an awesome cast and focuses on hairy vaginas. This, it would seem, should make it really easy for this to be a winning porn film. And, at times, Pure Bush is really great. However, the movie manages to continually get in the way of itself and ends up falling short of its potential.

What I liked about Pure Bush…
As I already mentioned up top, Pure Bush is at times a really great porn movie. That’s in large part due to the cast, all of whom bring a whole lot of talent and mad sex skills to the party. Each of the four women featured in this movie – Sarah Shevon, Valentina Nappi, Allie Haze, and Isabella De Santos – are damn good at what they do and you should want to watch each of them fuck.
In my opinion, the best scene of the film belonged to Isabella De Santos and Ramon Nomar. Ms. De Santos is sexy as all hell and Ramon Nomar is undeniably one of the best male performers the industry has to offer. Add to all of that lots of sexy Spanish and an absolutely explosive on-screen chemistry and what we have is a truly great XXX scene. In fact, I’d go so far as to say that this is one of the hottest hardcore scenes that I’ve seen all year. Seriously, it’s that good.
Allie Haze and Mick Blue also deliver a memorable pairing. Allie Haze is always worth your time and Mick Blue is arguably the best stud currently working in porn. If you can’t enjoy the sound of Ms. Haze gagging on a giant cock or watching a dude like Mick Blue fuck the holy bejesus out of one of the hottest women on the planet, then you are wrong. If you consider yourself any sort of porn fan, you will enjoy this scene.
What I didn’t like about Pure Bush…
The most frustrating part about Pure Bush was the way it kept getting in its own way. The film featured really awesome hardcore scenes, but before you could get to them, you had to sit through each of the starlets being interviewed by Isabella De Santos. They would chat about bush for several minutes, eventually the girl takes her panties off and allows Ms. Santos to give her pubic hair a little kiss (why?), and then there was another several minutes of each of the starlets doing a little sexy dance.
All of this served, in my opinion, as a needless distraction. The sex in this movie was terrific and should have been the focus of the entire film. Instead, it felt as if the movie were half hardcore action and half “other stuff” that added no real value to the film. I feel that most people would end up just fast-forwarding through all of this “other stuff” and that’s not good.
As an example, before getting to see Allie Haze and Mick Blue, you had to sit through ten minutes of her sitting on a couch talking to Isabella De Santos and then slowly dancing around to soft music. The same is true for both Sarah Shevon and Valentina Nappi. So, right there, that’s a half-hour of stuff that the audience probably just doesn’t care about.
Additionally, while it isn’t a huge deal, I really got tired of every girl saying, “pure bush” at the conclusion of each of their hardcore scenes. Yes. I know the name of the porn I’m watching, you don’t need to keep reminding me.

The bottom line…
If you were to judge Pure Bush on the quality of its hardcore sex scenes alone, this would be an absolutely outstanding movie. However, before you could get to each of those scenes, you had to endure a whole lot of other stuff that really wasn’t all that exciting. Less would have been more.
