This isn’t a review of the film, but believe me when I tell you that More might very well be one of the best Porn movies of 2023. And you don’t even need to watch the damn thing to understand why. I mean, just look at the cast of performers; most of whom perform at least two hardcore scenes. Then, notice that this is a Ricky Greenwood-directed joint. And finally, did you see the trailer up top?
It’s also worth noting that More is produced by Dorcel. Best known for its premium European XXX, the studio has been releasing an increasing number of feature movies set in the US with casts made up of some of Porn Valley’s most elite talents. Examples of this trend include such best-selling films as Torn and One Night in Los Angeles.
More | What’s the big deal?
More is a Porn movie that has everything you probably want from a smut flick. Start with a cast that’s absolutely loaded with XXX all-stars. Casey Calvert, Kira Noir, and Emma Rose are the core of this assembled group and it would be damn near impossible to think up a hotter trio than this one. And while the three of them would be plenty to make any adult feature a Film of the Year contender, they are supported by an incredible ensemble that includes Lilly Bell, Maya Woulfe, Kenna James, Isiah Maxwell, Mick Blue, Victoria Voxxx, and Derrick Pierce. You will not find a better lineup than that in any Porn movie released this year.
Then there’s the Ricky Greenwood factor. For those not familiar, Mr. Greenwood is easily one of the most elite filmmakers currently working in Porn. This year alone, he helmed two of 2023’s most popular releases; Feed Me (AdultTime) and Machine Gunner (Digital Playground). His film Grinders (AdultTime) was ranked as one of the 10 best porn movies of 2022. And in 2021, two of his movies – Blue Moon Rising (MissaX) and Under the Veil (MissaX) – were included on Die-Screaming’s Top 10 best porn list. As I’ve said repeatedly on this website o’ mine; Ricky Greenwood doesn’t make bad porn.
Another thing about More that makes it a standout release? Production value. Dorcel has long been known as a studio that doesn’t skimp when it comes to production budgets. That includes investing in lavish sets, 4K high definition cameras, top-tier production crews, and fantastic lighting and sound. Anyone that watches porn on a regular basis knows that many XXX companies don’t do any of those things. Dorcel does all of them.
Taken together, More is the rare adult feature film that rises to the level of an absolute must watch. The movie is currently a best-seller and is a likely front-runner to be nominated for – and win – a boat load of major industry awards. So, like I said earlier, you don’t even have to watch More to know that it’s something special because of everything it’s got going for it.
Oh, and I have seen it. It’s fantastic.
