I’ve been telling you people since the beginning of the year about Maid To Kill, the new hardcore feature film from Harry Sparks. Well, the movie was just released a few days ago and now I’m back to, once again, make sure you’re paying attention. Because I have a feeling Maid To Kill will be getting a decent bit of attention by XBIZ and AVN voters as this is easily one of the better XXX feature movies released thus far in 2022.
For those not familiar, Harry Sparks is an adult filmmaker who is probably best known for a handful of feature films that were released several years ago. He received lots of critical acclaim for movies such as Revenge of the Petites (AMK Empire) and Beauty And The Beast XXX (Exquisite Entertainment). He’s also done a lot of work for his Sparks Entertainment member site, which is where Maid To Kill originally debuted a few weeks ago.
Maid To Kill | What’s all the hype about?
The thing that should grab your attention about Maid To Kill right at the jump is the lineup of talent featured in this thing. It’s impressive. You might recall that Anna Claire Clouds was ranked by Die-Screaming as being one of the ten best new starlets of 2021. Or that Isiah Maxwell was named a top ten male performer for 2021. And the movie’s star, Lily Larimar, is an XBIZ and NightMoves Female Performer of the Year nominee.
Aiden Ashley needs to be considered a national treasure. Elite at all manner of hardcore performances, Aiden is at her best when able to showcase her highly impressive acting skills alongside her XXX abilities. For additional recent evidence of this, go see what she did in Hysteria (Wicked Pictures), The Rose Retreat (All Her Luv) or Hardcore Blondes (Hard X). Kira Noir was ranked as a Top 10 best new starlet of 2016 and a best female pornstar for 2020. And do I even need to say anything about the legendary Ana Foxxx? I mean, other than her being the 2018 Urban X Female Performer of the Year winner and twice-nominated by AVN for that same award.
Like I said, Maid To Kill’s cast is impressive.
Additionally, just based off what we’ve seen previously from Harry Sparks, production value is something this studio takes seriously. I haven’t seen a whole lot of Harry Sparks directed movies over the year but what I have seen was impressive. More than just utilizing CGI, Sparks also invests in things like having a director of photography to deliver expert-level cinematography. I don’t know a whole lot about the guy but I do know that Harry Sparks doesn’t make shitty movies.
All of this is why Maid To Kill is getting as much attention as it is. This is a movie that has an interesting story, an all-star cast and is helmed by an acclaimed director who has a history of making award-worthy smut. And as I mentioned above, don’t be at all surprised to see this joint get a lot of love when AVN and XBIZ announce their award nominations a few weeks from now.
