Sparks Entertainment wraps filming on its upcoming feature film…
About two months ago, I told you about how Chloe Cherry was being cast to star in the upcoming film Maid To Kill from Sparks Entertainment. Well…that isn’t happening anymore. The film itself is still on and in fact has just finished production. However, instead of Chloe Cherry having the lead role in the movie, it’s now going to star Lily Larimar.
Lily Larimar having the lead role in anything is not a bad thing, as far as I’m concerned. This lady is easily one of the hottest new talents currently working in Porn and has the Best New Starlet award nominations from AVN, XBIZ, Fleshbot and NightMoves to prove it. And with Maid To Kill being a feature film that Sparks Entertainment seems intent on heavily promoting, this role could very well serve as something as a breakout opportunity for Lily.
Maid To Kill | What we know so far about this movie…
Maid To Kill is the latest feature film from director and studio owner Harry Sparks. According to a press release, the movie is set to be released this Summer in six parts on the Sparks Entertainment premium site. There’s also plans for a wider release of the full film on streaming and DVD in addition to making an R-rated version available.
So what’s the movie about? According to the press releases I’ve seen so far, the film is something of a Sci-Fi thriller set in the near future and tells the story of an ex-con (played by Lily Larimar) who’s recruited by a government organization for an undercover operation in which she’s disguised as a maid. So in addition to the hardcore sex scenes, expect to see a fair bit of assassins, violence, guns and plot twists.
And while I haven’t seen any footage from Maid To Kill yet, based on the lineup of talent that Harry Sparks has starring in the film, it’s apparent that he’s not skimping on the budget. In addition to Lily Larimar in the lead role, the movie will also feature an impressive lineup of XXX superstars that includes Aiden Ashley, Ana Foxxx, Isiah Maxwell, Kira Noir and Anna Claire Clouds. That is legitimately a cast that is as good as any that you’ll see in any new porn film this year and is reason enough for all of us to give this film our full attention when it’s released a few months from now.
I already mentioned that Chloe Cherry is no longer going to be starring in Maid To Kill. The reason for that, according to the previously mentioned press release, has to do with some sort of scheduling conflict on the part of Chloe. In a statement, Harry Sparks seems to simultaneously praise the performance of Lily Larimar while also throwing a bit of shade at Chloe Cherry, saying…
Honestly, I’m glad there was a scheduling conflict and I was able to recast Lily in the lead. She did an incredible job, and I was really impressed by her acting skills. I can definitely see her getting multiple nominations this awards season.
So for anyone who was hoping to see Maid To Kill possibly added as one of Chloe Cherry’s 10 best porn movies…that won’t be happening now. Oh well.
But as far as Lily Larimar getting the opportunity to star in a film of this caliber, that’s awesome. If you haven’t already been keeping up with Lilly’s talents, just go watch what she did in such XXX joints as Deranged (Wicked Pictures) or Uncut 8 (Evil Angel). This lady has serious talent and I’m very much looking forward to seeing her in this role.
