Love Emergency (2019)
An unemployed, panhandling, college dropout named Vinny, living in his mom and step-dads basement, applies for a janitor position at the local hospital after he meets a beautiful nurse. Life gets flipped upside down when his idiot friend hacks the computer and he mistakenly gets hired as an emergency room trauma surgeon. Love, sex and hilarious mayhem ensue during his quest to remain employed so he can win the girl’s affection.

Adam & Eve and Will Ryder are preparing to release Love Emergency on DVD so I thought I should post something about it. The film is notable for a few reasons and will surely be in the running for all sorts of AVN and XBIZ awards when those nominations are announced a few weeks from now. But if I’m being honest, the first thing that made me decide to write about Love Emergency was that it had Riley Steele and her boobs on the cover.
I never said I wasn’t a simple-minded idiot, folks.
There are twenty-seven performers featured in Love Emergency. Obviously, not all of them do hardcore sex stuff. But this is a massive lineup by porn standards and it may have saved me some typing time if I just listed the people who weren’t in the movie. Anyway, this should give you an idea of the scope and budget that Adam & Eve dropped on this joint because just paying for all of those people to show up on set probably cost more than the total production budgets of many other XXX films.
Love Emergency | So…why should you pay attention to this movie?
Love Emergency is a Will Ryder directed movie and that alone is enough to get me on board with this thing. For years, Mr. Ryder has made a career out of delivering some of the most entertaining XXX features around and has proven especially great at crafting porn movies that combine high-quality hardcore scenes with legitimately good plot, dialogue, and comedic relief. His movies do not suck.
Then there’s the fact that the movie features a non-sex cameo by porn legend Christy Canyon. For anyone with even a little bit of appreciation for the history of this industry, that is something worth getting excited about. In talking about having Christy share a scene with Misty Stone (another terrific performer), this is what Ryder had to say…

So there’s that. I also already mentioned Riley Steele playing a starring role in Love Emergency but that’s something worth mentioning again, I think. 2019 has proven to be a strong comeback year for Riley, with her delivering face-meltingly hot performances in several releases across multiple studios. Some examples of said films would include Tushy Raw V2 (Tushy), Ministry of Evil (Evil Angel), and Threesome Fantasies Vol. 5 (Vixen).
The rest of the cast is just as talented, though I’m not going to even attempt to give proper shout outs to everyone because then this post would be the length of a young adult novel. However, with folks like Tommy Pistol, Nia Nacci, Live Wild, Kenzie Reeves, Jake Adams, and Sarah Vandella doing their thing, that can only be a good thing. These are people who you want to see doing porn stuff.
