A few days ago, Wicked Pictures released what is arguably its biggest and most ambitious film ever. Horizon, starring jessica drake, is a big-budget, high-production porn film that also represents what Wicked is calling, “the most ambitious science fiction adult film ever made.” And while it may be easy to throw statements like that around, after watching the trailer for this film, it’s quite easy to see that, yes, this movie is something special. And the fact that the film stars jessica drake, one of the most talented actresses in porn, only adds to the high quality of what Wicked, under the direction of Sam Hain, has produced with Horizon.
Forget comparing this film to other porn movies, this trailer for Horizon is of equal or better quality than a lot of big-budget, mainstream Hollywood flicks (Battlefield Earth, Starship Troopers, and Mission to Mars, I’m looking at you) that we’ve been subjected to over the years. And while the production money appears to have been very well spent (I haven’t seen the film yet, I’m basing this observation off of the trailer), let’s not forget that Horizon also stars some exceedingly hot pornstars engaged in full-on hardcore acts of depravity.

The cast of Horizon is absolutely loaded with some of the industry’s top talents. Wicked Pictures contract starlet jessica drake obviously takes top billing and her role in this film comes right on the heels of her award-worthy performance in Brad Armstrong’s Rocki Whore Picture Show. Misty Stone has also made a habit of delivering spicy performances in Wicked feature films. In addition to her showing here, look for her next year in films such as Countdown and Men In Black: A Hardcore Parody.
Bobbi Starr has been putting together an incredible 2011 and is absolutely someone who should be considered a strong candidate for some Female Performer of the Year consideration when those nominations are announced a few weeks from now (Note: Bobbi Starr went on to win the 2012 AVN FPoY trophy). Kaylani Lei is always a pleasure to watch work and is also putting the final touches on an impressive year, having also just performed in Sexy. Alektra Blue continues her reign as one of Wicked’s most in-demand starlets and is currently set to star in the Katy Perry inspired Next Friday Night parody early next year.
As for Kimberly Kane, this isn’t even the biggest XXX Sci-Fi film that she’s worked on this year. You might recall that she’s also set to appear in Axel Braun’s highly-anticipated upcoming Star Wars porn parody. Aiden Starr might actually be the wildest damn woman in all of Porn, having not only performed in some of the most hardcore releases of the past decade but also is a highly-respected director.
Any one of these women could effectively headline an XXX feature film. But having all of them as part of the same cast? That’s nuts.
