Forbidden Affairs Vol. 8: My Best Friend’s Husband (2018)
It’s a delicate balance for Mona – keeping her best friend, Angela happy while juggling a secret affair with Angela’s husband, Michael. Despite years of friendship, Mona just cannot control her desires and she indulges in a full blown affair behind Angela’s back.
Unsure how to navigate the tricky terrain, Mona seeks advice from her sister, Pristine – who somehow managed to successfully break up a marriage and land the man of her dreams. But, things become complicated for Mona when the guilt over betraying her best friend takes over.
With some semblance of a moral compass, Mona breaks off things with Michael and starts dating another man. However, old habits die hard when Michael refuses to let Mona move on and the affair starts back up again – but not without consequences.
Mona’s heart is bound to break – whether it be losing her best friend or her best friends husband – the man she can’t help but love.

Jacky St. James has a new movie coming out and that has to be considered a good thing. Forbidden Affairs Vol. 8: My Best Friend’s Husband features a talented cast, an edgy storyline and one of porn’s greatest directors. If this isn’t enough to make you excited then you are clearly some sort of shit-eating toilet troll. Or a Nazi.
Or both.
The first Forbidden Affairs film debuted in 2013 and was written and directed by James Avalon. Mr. Avalon went on to write and direct every film in the series up until this one. The last installment of Forbidden Affairs was released back in 2016, so it’s been a little bit since we’ve seen anything from it. Now that Jacky St. James is running the show, it’s possible we may start seeing more from the franchise on a regular basis.
Forbidden Affairs Vol. 8: My Best Friend’s Husband | A killer cast…
Angela White stars in Forbidden Affairs 8 and that alone is enough to make this movie worth some attention. The reigning AVN Female Performer of the Year and Die-Screaming’s #1 ranked female pornstar of 2017, Ms. White is arguably the most talented woman currently working in smut. Considering her dramatic acting and hardcore fucking skills, this is the type of role that’s perfect for Angela.
Mona Wales co-stars alongside Angela White and that’s fine by me. Ms. Wales is a veteran performer who can act as well as she can bang. She delivered one of the best performances of 2017 with her role in Confessions of a Sinful Nun (Sweetheart Video) and helped earn that film a Top 10 spot on Die-Screaming’s list of the best porn movies of the year.
Admittedly, I haven’t seen a whole lot of Pristine Edge’s work. That being said, the stuff I have seen of her is impressive. Having made her hardcore debut in 2014, Pristine Edge has so far performed in about 75 X-rated movies and earned a 2018 XBIZ nomination for her role in Please Make Me Lesbian 15 (Girlfriends Films). In comparison, I have never been nominated for anything in my whole life.
Vanessa Sky is relatively new to the industry, having just got her start last year. Since then, she’s been in just over 30 hardcore scenes and has already shown she ain’t scared of going hard in front of the camera. For proof of that, just take a gander at her work in films such as Ass Workout 2 (Evil Angel) or Creamy Teens (Burning Angel).
All of the dudes in Forbidden Affairs Vol. 8 are top-shelf talent. Michael Vegas and Ricky Johnson both ranked on Die-Screaming’s 10 Best Male Pornstars of 2017 and Ryan McLane is one of the industry’s most talented men. All of them have the type of XXX badassery that can elevate a porn movie from “good” to “great”. And each of them have had more sex than all of the readers of this website combined.
