Will Faye Reagan be the next AVN Female Performer of the Year?
Faye Reagan (aka Faye Valentine) has been nominated for her first AVN Female Performer of the Year Award. One of the newcomers to this elite club, Faye Reagan seems to be making her transition from newbie to pornstar. 2010 saw her star in some pretty impressive roles (Condemned and Meow!) and she is poised to have an even bigger 2011.
In addition to being nominated for the highly coveted Female Performer of the Year Award, Faye Reagan has also been nominated for five other AVN Awards, making 2010 her biggest year ever in terms of award nominated performances. Reagan (who formally went by the name Faye Valentine when she began her career) hit the porn scene in 2006, performing in three films (Fuck for Dollars 5, Handies, and I Film Myself 5). Since then, Faye Reagan has gone on to star in 127 other adult films and even landed a role as a model in an American Apparel ad (where she went by the name Jillian).
Is Faye Reagan one of the biggest names in the adult industry? Not yet. However, if you look at how her career is trending (both in number of films and award nominations), it’s clear that she is a rising force worth paying close attention to. Even if she doesn’t end up winning the Female Performer of the Year award, Faye Reagan and her fans can certainly look back on 2010 as the year that she made her mark on the industry.
