Confession Of A Sinful Nun follows devout Sister Charlotte (Charlotte Stokely) as she lives a peaceful life with her other sisters. I’ve been reading press releases about Confessions of a Sinful Nun since the beginning of June. After seeing the box art and XXX trailer for the movie, I decided that I needed to make the time to write something about it here. And because it’s Sunday, writing about lesbian nuns is appropriate.
Why Confessions of a Sinful Nun is worth our attention…
I haven’t yet seen Confessions of a Sinful Nun, so I have no idea if it’s good or not. However, I can say that I’ve read and seen enough about it that this is one of a only a handful of XXX projects that has managed to break through my porn and alcohol damaged attention span. There’s several reasons I’m interested in seeing this film.
First, have you seen the lineup of talent featured in this thing? Charlotte Stokely is someone who I’m very excited to see in the lead role of a feature movie. As an AVN and XBIZ Girl/Girl Performer of the Year nominee and as someone who has some very impressive acting abilities, I’m fully expecting her to kill it in Confessions of a Sinful Nun.
Add in the legendary Nina Hartley and XXX superstars Penny Pax and Lea Lexis and if you’re not at least a little excited about this film than you are either a fucking idiot or dead.
Second, this is the debut porn film from director Ricky Greenwood. I don’t know shit about Mr. Greenwood. That being said, in reading his quotes about this movie, he strikes me as someone who has a fair bit of creativity to offer. So I’m interested in seeing what he’s about.

I was fortunate that Jon Blitt and Mile High Media let me create this movie. I’m a fan of Nunsploitation, a subgenre of exploitation films, which were very popular in the 70’s. These films typically involve nuns living in convents and have a religious and sexual nature, like religious or sexual suppression due to living in celibacy.
For me it’s the perfect premise for an all-girl adult movie. So I apply the same recipe for Confessions of a Sinful Nun. It’s my way to pay homage to Ken Russell, Jess Franco and Joe D’Amato while capturing all-girl eroticism.
I had a wonderful cast for my first film, thanks in large part to Dana Vespoli’s assistance. It’s the perfect mix between legendary performers and up-and-coming stars. I’m a huge fan of Nina Hartley, Charlotte Stokely and Mona Wales so having them on my set was surreal, and how I can do a nun movie without Lea Lexis. Even the Vatican downloads her!
Finally, I think the box cover art for Confessions of a Sinful Nun is rad. I understand that has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the movie, but I like what I like and did I mention my terrible attention span?

All I’ve heard is that it’s sometime in “Late Summer.” And considering it’s now what most people would consider mid/late Summer, I suspect that maybe it’ll be out soon. But I dunno. I probably could send an email to someone and find out but I am the world’s worst porn blogger.
