Sinister Comixxx planning a XXX spoof of the all-woman DC Comics super team…
UPDATE: Sinister Comixxx has released a trailer for Birds of Prey XXX.
Almost a year ago, I posted about how Exquisite Films and director Sinister X were working on a Birds of Prey porn parody. At the time, it was reported that the film, Birds of Prey XXX, would be released in January 2012. That didn’t happen. Sinister X, who’s also known as Rob Black, left Exquisite Films to create his own porn company and when he left, Birds of Prey XXX left with him. Now, with Rob Black Productions firmly established, the movie will be the studio’s first release, scheduled now to ship on July 23rd.
Okay, so this project has a lot of people’s attention, and for good reason. First of all, Rob Black is, even for porn director/producer standards, a maverick. He’s always done his own thing, even serving a year in prison after pleading guilty to US Federal obscenity charges. Now with prison behind him, and his new studio up and running (Sinister Comixxx), the porn industry is abuzz about what the infamous director might do next. And with Birds of Prey XXX being the first production from his new studio, it’s got a lot of eyes on it.
Additionally, based on the first box cover images that we’ve seen from the film, Oracle (aka Barbara Gordon) is wheelchair bound. And while this is 100% true to the comic books that Birds of Prey XXX is based off of, it’s highly unusual to have a lead character in a hardcore porn movie be portrayed as a paraplegic. Not that this is a bad thing. If anything, injecting a little diversity into the porn industry is probably a good thing.
Comic fans, especially the legions of Barbara Gordon supporters, will be eager to see how Oracle is portrayed in the porn parody and if her character is as strong willed, intelligent, and resourceful as her comic book counterpart.
