Die-Screaming ranks the ten greatest new XXX starlets of the year…
10. Demi Hawks
Demi Hawks certainly made her mark in 2023. She was electric all through the year, performing in about 45 XXX releases, not to mention all of her camming and Onlyfans work. Some of her best efforts were Demi’s scenes in Brand New Girls Vol. 2 (Elegant Angel), Super Cute Vol. 16 (HardX), and Hardcore Size Queens (DarkX). All of this resulted in AVN and XBIZ both nominating Demi for 2024 Best New Starlet honors.
9. Katrina Colt
While Katrina Colt performed in a fair number of XXX films in 2022, it wasn’t until 2023 that she really caught fire within the industry. Katrina ended the year with an AVN nomination for Best New Starlet. What helped her earn that was a steady stream of stellar showings in movies such as I Want Your Friend (Devil’s Film), Analized Vol. 2 (HardX), and No Going Back (Devil’s Film). Assuming she can maintain the trajectory that she’s on, I would expect some even bigger things from Katrina Colt as we move into the new year.
8. Willow Ryder
If you weren’t keeping up with the hardcore work that Willow Ryder was serving up all through 2023, then shame on you. I say that because over the span of the previous twelve months, Willow was on an absolute heater and banging out some of the best XXX scenes of anyone in smut. For proof of that, just go and watch what she did in Young Black Starlets 3 (Elegant Angel), Oiled Anal Angels (Evil Angel), or Vibes Vol. 8 (Vixen).
7. Mina Luxx
During 2023, there were few performers as entertaining to watch as Mina Luxx. Seriously. Time and again, she stole the scene in some of the hottest releases of the year. Highlights of hers would include Pornstar Therapy 8 (Brazzers), Ignite Vol. 7 (Blacked), and Uncut 23 (Evil Angel). Additionally, the content that she serves up on her Onlyfans is second to none. Truly, Mina Luxx made 2023 a lot more rad than it would have been without her.
6. Lia Lin
Because most of her work has been for European studios, much of the American audience might not be as familiar with Lia Lin as some of the other women on this list. That’s a damn shame because, really, she’s an incredibly dynamic performer who deserves our attention. In 2023, she was on fire in such films as Good Girl Gone Bad (LifeSelector), Thr3e #1 (Dorcel), and Sex Weekend with Cherry and Friends (Private).
5. Summer Vixen
Summer Vixen made 2023 her bitch. How so? Well, she had starring roles in some of the year’s best hardcore releases, including such bangers as Sexual Icons 3 (HardX), Gape Me 5 (Evil Angel), and Blacked Raw V68 (Blacked). She also earned herself four 2024 AVN Award nominations, including a nod for Best New Starlet. If Summer Vixen continues to give us what she gave in 2023, you can safely bet all of your money that she’ll very soon achieve legit superstar status.
4. Lumi Ray
To give you an idea of how awesome a 2023 Lumi Ray put together, she was nominated for four XBIZ Awards…more than any other lady featured on this countdown. That acclaim is well-deserved, as she was featured in some of the best-selling adult films of the year, including More (Dorcel), Ripe 12 (Jules Jordan Video), and Distraction (Girlsway). I would also highly recommend you give her a follow on X because her feed there is worth every bit of time you can give it.
3. Molly Little
2023 was Molly Little’s first full year in Porn and she wasted no time in establishing herself as one of the industry’s hottest new talents. I’m not just saying that to be nice. Molly’s Onlyfans is one of the hottest of any that you’ll find on that platform and she routinely delivered scenes that featured her fucking as hard as anyone in the business. Highlights of hers would certainly be She Wants It Rough 2 (Nubiles), Blacked Raw V71 (Blacked), and Princess Cum Vol. 16 (Nubiles).
2. Scarlett Alexis
If you were paying any kind of attention to Porn in 2023, it was impossible to miss Scarlett Alexis. Throughout the year, she starred in some of the most popular releases 2023 had to offer, including YA! Young Anal 4 (Evil Angel), My Boss Banged My Box (Lethal Hardcore), and Tushy Raw V45 (Tushy). Scarlett might not have been an XXX superstar when she came into 2023 but she certainly was by the end of it.
1. Chanel Camryn
Chanel Camryn is Die-Screaming’s pick as the Best New Starlet of 2023. It’s a selection that, I think, is pretty hard to argue against. All across the year, Chanel was a damn force of nature and has the seven collective XBIZ and AVN award nominations to prove it. Some of her best work was featured in films such as Dirty Talkin’ Stepdaughters 12 (Lethal Hardcore), Massage Seductions 2 (Sweetheart Video), and Horny Young Vixens 4 (Evil Angel).
About this year’s Top 10 Best New Starlets rankings…
This is the tenth year that I’ve assembled these Best New Starlet rankings for Die-Screaming. It’s never easy. I say that because there are always well more than ten deserving performers and 2023 was certainly no exception. For every woman who made this countdown, there were at least two who didn’t simply because there just wasn’t enough room to fit them all. Because math.
I should also note that the rankings that you see here weren’t simply pulled out of my ass. As I do each year, I score a number of new XXX performers across a dozen categories, assigning a numerical score to each. I then use a super-secret scoring formula to total up the results. The women you see above are the ones who scored the highest this year. And while I refuse to divulge my exact scoring methodology, I can throw some interesting statistical factoids at you.
- This year, 34 starlets were ranked. Each of them was nominated for a Best New Starlet award by at least one major awards outlet (AVN, XBIZ, etc.).
- Three women were each one point or less away from making this year’s Top 10 rankings.
- The two consecutive spots in this year’s countdown that had the smallest gap between them were positions #9 and #10, which had less than a tenth of a point between them. The two spots that had the largest gap were positions #2 and #3, which were separated by 3.1 points.

No Top 10 list is perfect and I’m very certain that this one isn’t, either. However, in doing what I do, I watch a LOT of porn each year and certainly way more than most humans.
