The most highly anticipated porn of the year, Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody, is one step closer to completion. Axel Braun, the porn industry’s undisputed king of parody, has completed principal photography on the film, which Braun says will be his best and most epic porn parody ever. With a huge budget, top-talent cast, and a one hundred and forty page script, this movie promises to be the porn film to see in 2011. Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody is currently slated for release in September.
The film stars up and coming porn star Allie Haze, who plays the role of Princess Leia. Braun has said repeatedly that Star Wars XXX will be a career defining role for Haze and with filming now completed, he’s not backing down from those words. In an interview appearing over on AVN, Braun had the following to say about his star actress..
“Allie Haze really nailed the role of spoofing Princess Leia,” Braun said. “I’ve said all along that this will be a career-making role for her and I am now totally convinced that she is going to win the fans’ hearts and plenty of accolades for her performance.”
Additionally, Axel Braun, who is an avid movie fan, promises that this parody will not be making fun of the Star Wars franchise. Rather, Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody will be a sort of erotic tribute to the classic film. In the same AVN article I mentioned before, Braun described the nature of the film like this…
“This film is a spoof and not mean-spirited,” Braun added. “From the stars to the extras, everyone knew they were involved in something special and worked hard to make sure this was done absolutely right. The result is simply astonishing. This was by far the most expensive, elaborate and complicated production I’ve ever been involved in. We had illness, unforgiving locations, last minute cast changes, temperamental costumes, finicky props, hair and makeup drama, and some of the most difficult-to-capture sex scenes ever conceived, but we did it, and the result is a true epic that I believe people are going to be talking about for years to come.”
As a life-long fan of all things Star Wars, I’m really excited to hear that Braun has decided to approach this project with such respect. The easy thing to do would have been to slap a film together that would have been a cheap and mindless take on Star Wars. It’s really good to hear that, apparently, Braun took the opposite approach with Star Wars XXX, creating something that will both entertain and not alienate Star Wars fans, who are some of the fiercest and most loyal of any movie franchise.
If Axel Braun is delivers something that lives up to the already lofty expectations for this film, Star Wars XXX: A Porn Parody stands to be one hell of a film. And, possibly, my most favorite porn film ever.
