10. Ana Foxxx
Ana Foxxx has been operating at an elite level in the porn biz for the better part of a decade and still managed to make 2020 one of the best years of her career. Some of Ana’s best work was featured in such films as Ana Foxxx is Kinky (Kink), Primary (Lust Cinema) and Sweet, Sweet Sally Mae (Adult Time). She also earned herself a whopping 10 combined AVN and XBIZ award nominations, in addition to being selected to co-host the 2021 XBIZ Awards show in January.
9. Cherry Kiss
All Cherry Kiss did across 2020 was remind us as to why she’s arguably one of the most talented XXX performers in the world and certainly within the European porn scene. Cherry gifted us with solid performances in such hardcore gems as Bikini Models (Scarlett Revell Studio), The Fetish Adventures of Cherry Kiss (Bizarre Video) and Stars (Marc Dorcel). The topping on the cake was her being nominated for her fourth consecutive Foreign Female Performer of the Year award from AVN.
8. Gianna Dior
In 2019, Gianna Dior was Die-Screaming’s #1 Best New Starlet, the Penthouse Pet of the Year and winner of the AVN Best New Starlet trophy. That would be a hard year to follow up on in the best of circumstances, let alone in the middle of a once-a-century pandemic…but Gianna still managed to kick the snot out of 2020. She did that by shooting her first anal scene and delivering scoring scenes in films such as Dirty Talk 8 (Jules Jordan Video), Girlcore Season 2 (Adult Time) and Cuckold’s Plight 2 (Deeper).
7. Cherie DeVille
Hey, it’s Cherie DeVille who just happens to be Die-Screaming’s top-ranked MILF pornstar of 2020. All of the things that helped her earn that honor (along with her eighth consecutive AVN MILF Performer of the Year nomination) helped Cherie rate as one of the Top 10 Best Female Pornstars of the Year, too. Some of the greatest hits of Ms. DeVille’s 2020 would include such bangers as 40 Years Old, Come to Life (Marc Dorcel), Evil Girls with Mormon Boys (Evil Angel) and Girls Love Strap-Ons 2 (Sweetheart Video).
6. Kira Noir
Kira Noir was not fucking around in 2020. In addition to being absolutely brilliant in the critically acclaimed Primary (Lust Cinema), Kira also held nothing back in other 2020 elite adult cinema efforts like Sweet, Sweet Sally Mae (Girlsway) and Pick A Room (Digital Playground). 5. Riley Reid
As she has been since she made her XXX debut nearly a decade ago, Riley Reid was an absolute force of nature throughout 2020. She started the year off by using her smut to help raise donations for victims of the Australian wildfires and twelve months later has been nominated for a whole clutch of major industry awards. In between, Riley thrilled us with performances in Love Her Bush (Raw Attack), Mistress Maitland (Deeper) and Paranormal (GirlGirl). 4. Jane Wilde
Jane Wilde had a monster 2020. That included having two outstanding anal showcase films from Evil Angel; Jane’s Anal Addiction and Jane Wilde Is Agape. Additionally, her performance in another Evil Angel flick — Angel Invades America — helped make that movie one of the best hardcore all-sex releases of the year. In fact, I watched a LOT of Jane Wilde scenes this year and I don’t remember ever coming across one that wasn’t loaded with her an intensity and on-screen charisma that very few of her peers can match. Both XBIZ and AVN nominated her for Female Performer of the Year and I wouldn’t bet against her winning at least one of those bad boys.
3. Angela White
To give you an idea of just how incredible of a performer Angela White is, Die-Screaming ranked her as the #1 Best Female Pornstar in 2017, 2018 and 2019. And even if 2020 wasn’t the strongest showing of her already legendary career, she still managed to deliver several strong performances across the year and remain a dominant figure within the biz. Some of her best work was in Exposure (Digital Playground), Angel Invades America (Evil Angel) and Shape of Beauty Vol 4 (Adult Time).
2. Adriana Chechik
It should be no surprise that when we look back on the very best porn films and scenes of 2020, Adriana Chechik was in most of them. From her award-nominated role in Muse Season 1 (Deeper) to her thrilling threesome in Transfixed Vol. 6 (Adult Time) to her scorching performance in Gape Me 3 (Evil Angel), Adriana left no doubt about her boss status within the porn industry. She closed out the year by receiving a metric ass-ton of major industry awards in nearly every imaginable category.
1. Emily Willis
Emily Willis is Die-Screaming’s pick for the #1 best female pornstar of 2020. Throughout the previous twelve months, Emily put on a show by delivering incredible hardcore performances again and again and again. Her showcase film, The Insatiable Emily Willis (Jules Jordan Video), is easily one of the best all-sex releases of 2020. She also was transcendent in such XXX releases as Angel Invades America: Wreck My Holes (Evil Angel) and If It Feels Good (Deeper). As further evidence of just how impressive Emily Willis was in 2020, I would direct your attention to the staggering fifteen AVN nominations she just scored, including her second consecutive Female Performer of the Year nod.
About this Top 10 list…
2020 marks the seventh year that I’ve assembled these Top 10 Best Female Pornstars of the Year rankings for Die-Screaming. And as has been the case in each of those previous years, the rankings you see above are the product of a scoring system that measures performers across a variety of categories. I mention that only because I’m sure some of you just assumed that I pulled this list out of my blogger ass. Well…I didn’t.
I also ain’t gonna spill the beans on the exact details of my scoring system but I can provide a few statistical nuggets…
- This year, I scored 170 XXX female performers across eleven categories. The ladies with the ten highest scores are the ones that you see up above.
- The two consecutive positions with the smallest distance between them was #6 and #7, which were separated by on three-tenths of a point. The largest gap was between #4 and #5, spaced out by 2.5 points.
- 2 performers were less than a point away from making the Top 10.
- 60% of the women featured on this year’s Top 10 list were also Top 10 finalists in last year’s rankings.

Being a filthy, no-good and frequently drunk porn blogger, I watched smut in quantities large enough to kill most normal people during 2020. And I used math to come up with these rankings. So I’m pretty sure those things combine mean my Top 10 list is better than anything you can come up with.
