Sarah Anderson (Abella Danger) had no idea that when she left for a romantic getaway to the mountains with her husband (Seth Gamble) that her life would be in jeopardy. After a brutal attack that leaves her fighting for her life, Sarah enlists the help of her best friend (Charlotte Stokely). Together they try to solve the mystery of who’d want her dead, while staying one step ahead of both the assailant and the sheriff. Stormy Daniels is preparing to release a new XXX feature film and it’s called One Step Ahead. The movie comes loaded with a dark and twisted plot along with a very talented cast of performers who have some serious hardcore and dramatic acting abilities. Seems like a pretty good time.
While I haven’t yet seen One Step Ahead, it’s certainly something that’s on my list of movies to watch before the end of the year. As I’ve said before many times on this website, I’m an unabashed and longtime Stormy Daniels fanboy and the stuff that she writes and directs are almost always more entertaining than a lot of other hardcore features. I should probably also tell you that I like Stormy Daniels more than any one of you.
Hopefully that doesn’t make our relationship awkward. And by “relationship”, I’m referring to that thing we have where I spend hours of my life each week writing profound things about porn and you just scroll past all the words to look at the dirty pictures and videos. I hate you. So. Much.
One Step Ahead | A closer look at the cast…
Abella Danger is the star of the One Step Ahead show and I don’t think anyone can lodge a complaint against that. Ms. Danger is arguably the biggest star currently working in the dirty movie business and she’s at her best, in my opinion, when she has these lead roles in feature films. There was a reason Die-Screaming ranked her as the #2 Best Female Pornstar of 2016 and she is certainly making a strong case to be ranked #1 this year.
Charlotte Stokely is also having an outstanding year. You may recall that she starred in Confessions Of A Sinful Nun (Sweetheart Video) and Justice League XXX (Wicked Pictures), which are two of the top-selling porn movies of 2017. Expect her to once again be nominated for multiple Girl/Girl Performer of the Year awards when those things are announced a few weeks from now.
Seth Gamble and Tommy Pistol were both ranked on Die-Screaming’s 10 Best Male Pornstars of 2016 and each have made strong cases to be included in the 2017 rankings (which will be released in December), as well. They, along with Tyler Nixon, are among the most talented dudes in smut and have the type of dramatic skills that can make any feature movie better than it would have been without them.
I feel like I’ve been writing a lot about Giselle Palmer recently and that’s because I have been. She just started doing hardcore porn earlier this year but has already established herself as something of an anal sex specialist. If you think I’m just making that shit up, you obviously haven’t seen her recent performances in movies such as Deep In That Ass 4 (Evil Angel) and Anal Freshmen 3 (Evil Angel).
