So as of this writing, we’re 21 days into 2022 and the new film One Night In Los Angeles is shaping up to be the first major adult video hit of the year. The film was released about three weeks ago and I’m just writing about it now because I’m terrible at my job. Anyway, I got my grubby little porn blogger hands on a copy and will be spending some quality time with it this weekend. But before I do that…I’m here to tell you a little bit about it.
One Night In Los Angeles is notable for a few reasons. Start with the fact that it’s directed by Ricky Greenwood who is easily one of the Top 2 or 3 directors currently working in Smut. Also, this being a Marc Dorcel production is meaningful because those boys don’t fuck around when it comes to production values and budgets. Finally, the lineup of performers featured in One Night In Los Angeles is crazy-bonkers good.
One Night In Los Angeles | Why all the hype?
As I already touched upon, there’s a lot to like about One Night In Los Angeles and I say that as someone who hasn’t even seen the damn thing yet. Ricky Greenwood has proven himself to be a master at crafting really solid feature movies. To that point, two of his films are featured on Die-Screaming’s list of the 10 best XXX movies of 2021. Armed with a Marc Dorcel-sized production budget seems like a really good strategy for making a highly-entertaining and high-quality porn flick.
Speaking of Marc Dorcel, this is a studio that is mostly known for its European releases. It’s not too often that you see a company that’s based in France go all-in on a US porn production but here we are. And as anyone who’s ever seen a Marc Dorcel feature film can attest, these films always look amazing. For proof of that, just go take a gander at some of Dorcel’s other films, such as One Night In Paris, Betrayal or Tiffany, Desires Of Submission.
The One Night In Los Angeles cast is probably one of the most talented ensembles that you’ll find in any recently released porn film. Emily Willis, who stars in two of the movie’s five hardcore scenes, was ranked by Die-Screaming as the number one best female pornstar of 2021. Kenna James, who also has a pair of scenes in the film, was ranked number six. If those two ladies were the only stars of the film, it would be enough for me to drop some of my ill gotten porn blogger money on this movie.
But there’s more. In addition to Kenna and Emily, One Night In Los Angeles also includes the talents of Jayden Cole, Ana Foxxx, Ashley Lane, Charlotte Stokely and Paige Owens. On the stud side of things, the films also features Dante Colle and Nathan Bronson. Both of those guys were included on Die-Screaming’s 10 Best Male Pornstars of 2021 rankings.
