Brad Armstrong doesn’t do porn parodies often, but when he does, they tend to be a big deal. His first two parody films – The Rocki Whore Picture Show and Men in Black XXX – both proved to be big commercial and critical successes. For this third venture into the genre, Armstrong will be helming Magic Mike XXXL: A Hardcore Parody.
According to the press release announcing the project, Magic Mike XXXL will be a collective spoof of both the original Magic Mike movie and the Magic Mike XXL sequel (which is set to be released on July 1st).
As a former male stripper himself, it seems appropriate that Brad Armstrong will be directing the Magic Mike porn parody. And by “appropriate”, I mean that it will probably end up being one of the most acclaimed and celebrated hardcore adult films of the year, because that’s just how Mr. Armstrong tends to handle his business.
And even if Mr. Armstrong’s directing skill wasn’t enough to make Magic Mike XXXL a winner, the cast of the film should be enough to put it over the top. When he assembled this bunch, Armstrong wasn’t fucking around. Both the male and female sides of the lineup reads as a “who’s who” list of the hottest talent the industry has to offer.
Anyone paying attention to the Twitter accounts of Brad Armstrong or the members of the Magic Mike XXXL cast over this past weekend were treated to several pictures from the set of the movie. Or you can just look at several of them collected in the gallery above.
Magic Mike XXXL is set to be released from Wicked Pictures at some point in July.
