Trans500 is preparing to release a Caitlyn Jenner porn parody later this month. Titled “Kaitlyn Gender: Based On a Not So True Story“, the film stars Jonelle Brooks in the title role. For obvious reasons, there’s quite a bit of hype and mainstream media attention surrounding this project, so when I had the opportunity to review the film, I was interested to see if Kaitlyn Gender could live up to all of the attention being paid to the movie.
What I liked about Kaitlyn Gender: Based On a Not So True Story…
The best part of Kaitlyn Gender was the performance of Jonelle Brooks. While this movie really isn’t a showcase for her, she did appear in three of the four film’s hardcore scenes (I’m not counting a quick Wendy Williams solo as a full scene due to how short and random it was) and pretty much carried the entire movie. To her credit, Ms. Brooks absolutely killed it in her role.
The best scene of the film, in my opinion, was Jonelle Brooks and Angelina Castro. The level of sexual energy in this scene was fantastic. Watching Jonelle Brooks fuck the holy hell out of Angelina Castro (and her massive tits) was easily one of the highlights of the entire movie, as both performers brought their A-game. And casting Ms. Castro in the role of Kim Kardashian was just terrific on so many levels.
Jonelle Brooks’ solo scene is also noteworthy here, I think. While I’ve never been a huge fan of solo scenes, I actually managed to sit through this one without feeling that the scene was dragging or having the urge to skip through it. Jonelle Brooks can be sexy as hell and put on quite the show, as proven by this scene.
I also have to give a lot of credit here to director Josh Stone. From the opening scene, this was a porn parody that served as a fun-filled and not so serious send up of the Caitlyn Jenner story without ever feeling as if it were poking fun. Fans of Ms. Jenner could absolutely watch this entire movie and probably enjoy the hell out of it. That, in my opinion, is one of the true marks of a really great and well-balanced porn parody. Well done, Mr. Stone.
What I didn’t like about Kaitlyn Gender: Based On a Not So True Story…
There were a few things about Kaitlyn Gender that I found a bit puzzling. I’ll start with the fact that a few of the scenes seemed to drag a bit. The interview scene with Wendy Williams and Jonelle Brooks was one such example. While it did provide a few chuckles here and there, it would have been a lot more effective had it been condensed. It just wasn’t entertaining enough to justify its length, in my opinion.
I was also a bit disappointed in the casting of Ramon. I’ve never really been a fan of his (especially since his arrest in a truly bizarre animal cruelty case a few years ago) and I just don’t think he added much value to the movie, as his best days as a performer are clearly a few years behind him.

The bottom line…
It would have been really easy for Trans500’s Caitlyn Jenner porn parody to fall flat on its face and leave its audience disappointed. Thanks to a winning performance by Jonelle Brooks and some seriously great direction from Josh Stone, that didn’t happen. Regardless if you’re a Caitlyn Jenner fan or not, this is an XXX movie worth both your time and money.
