The GOLDEN GILFS Coloring Book – My Review

A friend gifted me Woodrocket’s coloring book for my birthday…

I recently turned a year older and a friend of mine got me The Golden GILFs coloring book from WoodRocket. I had neither asked for nor was I expecting this but when you run a Porn blog and have friends as classy as mine…you end up getting a Golden Girls porn parody coloring book for your birthday.

Now that I have a copy of this thing, I figured I should probably write something about it. I’ve never written a review of a coloring book before but, fuck it, let’s see how this goes.

The Golden GILFs Porn Parody Coloring Book | What I liked about it…

I love it!

As a gag gift, The Golden GILFs coloring book might be one of the best ever. Everyone knows who the Golden Girls are and everyone, including Ryan Reynolds in the first Deadpool movie, has made at least one Bea Arthur sex joke at some point. Unwrapping a present and finding yourself holding this in your hands as everyone around you gasps in horror/hilarity is a special moment that every adult needs to experience at least once before they die.

But this is more than just a cheap laugh. WoodRocket has over the years made a name for itself as one of the industry leaders when it comes to cranking out adult films based off of pop culture TV shows and movies. The movies are always over the top but also do a very solid job of capturing the spirit of whatever source material is being parodied. In that regard, The Golden GILFs coloring book carries on that fine tradition.

To that point, this coloring book also tells a story. In this case, it’s Dorothy, Blanch, Rose and Sophia throwing a party to celebrate “Gangbang Day”, which of course is something the wholesome folks of St. Olaf observe to honor Halley Gangbang. Halley is the legendary fisherman who founded St. Olaf and Gangbang Day is meant to mark the occasion that he had sex with a mermaid who unfortunately ended up just being a cute fish but whatever.

As you might imagine, when the girls’ guests show up for the Gangbang Day party…they aren’t there to eat cheesecake. And, always ones to find the bright side of any situation, the Golden GILFs are happy to oblige in throwing a gangbang that the people of Miami will be talking about for quite a while.

Everything from the artwork to the construction of this coloring book is of very impressive quality and nothing about it feels cheap. The cover is full cover and high-gloss and each of the 16 pages (giving 32 pages of artwork and story as each page is printed front and back) can easily stand up to crayon, colored pencils, charcoal, markers or whatever the hell else you might be looking to use to color.

And did I mention that this is a Golden Girls porn parody coloring book? I mean, what the fuck else would you even want for your birthday?

The bottom line

The Golden GILFs coloring book is the perfect gift for anyone who is a Golden Girls fan, is celebrating a birthday/engagement/divorce/wedding/retirement or for anyone celebrating a holiday of any sort. It’s the kind of gift that is perfect to give because everyone will laugh, it will easily be the most memorable gift received and because everyone secretly yearns for some Golden Girls porn. 5 stars, highly recommended.
