The long-awaited sequel to legendary director Axel Braun’s blockbuster parody is finally here! In this new sexy spoof, the superhero team splits into groups in order to battle a creature known as onslaught and find a toxic chemical inside Hydra’s secret base. But their biggest challenge will be battling one of their own, transformed into an evil version of himself. Just when they thought they were safe… along came a spider!

Marvel Comics is preparing to release its hugely anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron movie on May 1st. However, Vivid Entertainment is beating Marvel to the punch, releasing its own Avengers sequel today. Vivid has announced that it will be debuting Avengers 2 XXX: Along Came a Spider today on its website, followed in a bit later by a DVD release.
As you can see from the poster and plot description above, Avengers 2 XXX is not an Age of Ultron porn parody. The film, which is directed by the legendary Axel Braun, goes in a different direction from the mainstream Hollywood film, featuring characters such as Wasp, Ms. Marvel, Winter Soldier, Onslaught, and black costume Spider-Man.
While Axel Braun ended his partnership with Vivid last year (now working with Wicked Pictures), this movie was filmed sometime before he left. Vivid has been holding on to Avengers 2 XXX, waiting for just the right time to release it so as to get the most bang for its buck. In this case, that time appears to be just a bit over 2 weeks before the release of Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron movie.

In looking at that list, there’s a lot to be excited about. And, honestly, some disappointing omissions, as well. While it’s very cool to see such characters as Mockingbird, Wasp, Ms. Marvel, and Red Guardian, it’s also a bit puzzling why such mainstays as Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk would have been left out.
Comic geek disappointments aside, Avengers 2 XXX is directed by Axel Braun and that alone makes this movie required viewing in my book. For those that aren’t familiar, Mr. Braun pretty much invented the comic book porn parody genre, producing some of the most epic and true to the comics parodies as Captain America XXX, Superman vs Spider-Man XXX, X-Men XXX, and of course Avengers XXX. With the release of this latest film, Axel is well on his way to building a pornographic version of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that will rival anything Hollywood can offer.
Avengers 2 XXX: Along Came a Spider is available right now over on Vivid.com and will be available for DVD purchase at some point in the near future. The film features five hardcore scenes and has a total runtime of 1 hour 39 minutes.
