The phrase “amuse bouche” is French for “it amuses the mouth.” Usually, it refers to bite-sized appetizers that a chef sends out to guests before a meal. However, here, Amuse Bouche is the title of the latest Dorcel feature film from director Ricky Greenwood. Does the plot of this movie have many similarities to The Bear, the hit TV show? Yes. But it also features several hardcore sex scenes, so that’s different enough for me.
I mentioned that Amuse Bouche is helmed by Ricky Greenwood. That’s significant because Mr. Greenwood happens to be one of the industry’s finest directors. I’m not just saying that to be nice. He crafted four of the Top 10 best porn movies of 2023, including Machine Gunner (Digital Playground), and Feed Me (Adult Time). If you wanted to say that he’s the greatest director currently working in Porn, I don’t think I’d argue against you.
Amuse Bouche | Let’s talk about the ladies…
Lumi Ray is the star of Amuse Bouche, performing in three of the film’s five hardcore scenes. Unquestionably one of the industry’s most talented performers, Lumi was ranked by Die-Screaming as one of the Top 10 best new starlets of 2023 and has a 2024 AVN Best Actress nomination to her name. Highlights of hers would include such bangers as My Sexy Little Sister 13 (Digital Sin), Young Vixen Hotwife (New Sensations), and More (Dorcel).
I’m giddy to see Alexis Tae in this movie. Since making her Porn debut in 2019, Alexis has established herself among the top-tier performers, with multiple AVN, XBIZ, NightMoves, and UrbanX Female Performer of the Year nominations to back that up. I’ve lost track of how many terrific performances she’s delivered over the years, but a few of them would have to be her scenes in Hot Bodies Vol. 5 (Hard X), P.O.V. Anal Sluts (Evil Angel), and Performers of the Year 2022 (Elegant Angel). You also need to be following her on X, too, because the stuff on her feed is worth your time and attention.
This is my first time writing about Rara Knupps. While she has performed in a few adult films, Rara is better known for her indie clip work. Those of you who’ve been keeping up with her on social media and with the content that she’s been churning out on her Onlyfans already know how bad of a baddie this woman is and, for those of you who are new to her hardcore stylings…you’re in for a treat. Here’s to hoping that her scene in Amuse Bouche is the first of many new XXX studio scenes that we get from Rara Knupps in 2024.
Katrina Colt rounds out the Amuse Bouche cast. If it feels like I’ve been writing about Katrina a lot lately, it’s because I have. You might recall that she was ranked as one of the Top 10 best new starlets of 2023 and stars in the recently released Cul-de-Sex Vol. 2 (Elegant Angel). If for some reason you haven’t been keeping up with what Ms. Colt has been up to, you sincerely need to get your life in order because she is very well-positioned to achieve legit superstar status in 2024. Don’t say I didn’t tell ya.
