The 2025 AVN Award nominations were recently announced. One of the most popular award categories, the Best Star Showcase, shines a spotlight on the ten performer-focused XXX films that AVN believes to be the best of the year. With that being the case, Die-Screaming takes a closer look at this year’s batch of nominees to give you an idea of the pornstar showcase movies that dominated 2024.
All or Nothing: A Hailey Rose Showcase (AdultTime)
All or Nothing: A Hailey Rose Showcase holds the distinction of being the only “based on a true story” movie featured on this list. According to Hailey Rose, the star of this joint, the plot of the movie is based on a real-life experience she had in college when she met three guys who were looking to do a gangbang. The fact that Hailey has her real-life boyfriend, Max Fills, co-star in All or Nothing gives it an extra blast of chemistry and heat.

I’m a big fan of LT’s directorial work and of the Elegant Angel Slutwoman series, so you can imagine how pumped I was to see Cali Caliente Is Slutwoman. The film, starring Angela White and produced by her AGW Entertainment studio, features six hardcore scenes and each of them is directed by a different, legendary director. The movie was nominated for a total of six 2025 AVN Awards, including Best Star Showcase, Best Anal Sex Scene, Best Blowbang Scene, and Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene. An argument could be made that Fuck Angela is the best Angela White showcase movie ever made and that’s impressive as hell considering how many incredible showcases in which she’s already starred.
The Hunger (Wicked Pictures)
The Hunger is definitely the dark horse nominee in the 2025 Best Star Showcase award category. As of this writing, the film is only streaming on Wicked Pictures’ premium site, making it the least available of any of the movies on this list. Additionally, The Hunger is directed by Claudia Ross and is her debut film as a director. That being said, Emma Hix is the star of the thing and that alone makes it worth seeing out, in my opinion.
Kira Noir On Display (Brazzers)
Kira Noir On Display is a punk rock-themed XXX showcase directed by Lea Lexis. The movie boasts an incredible lineup of co-stars that includes Liv Revamped, Demi Hawks, Queenie Sateen, Emma Rose, Hollywood Cash, Xander Corvus, and Alex Mac. As one of the most accomplished and popular hardcore starlets on the planet, any new Kira Noir porn is a reason to celebrate. A whole showcase that has her performing everything up to and including a 17-person gangbang should make Kira Noir On Display a must-watch movie.
Sheena Shaw: Ultimate Anal Queen (Evil Angel)
