3. Anna Claire Clouds

2022 was the year that Anna Claire Clouds transcended to superstar status within the Porn industry. 2. Kenna James

While many people might still think of Kenna James as a Girl/Girl performer, she continues to leave such labels behind her. That was especially true in 2022 as Kenna delivered a wide-range of hardcore performances and performed in some of the biggest releases of the year. She earned high praise for her role in One Night In Los Angeles (Dorcel), took on the role of Mary Jane Watson in Axel Braun’s SpideyPool XXX (Wicked Pictures) and put on a Boy/Girl clinic in such gonzo flicks as Boss Bitches (Spizoo). Her dominant performances across the year helped earn Kenna Female Performer of the Year, Best Actress and Girl/Girl Performer of the Year award nods from the likes of AVN and XBIZ.

1. Jane Wilde

Jane Wilde is Die-Screaming’s pick for the best female pornstar of 2022. Long one of the industry’s most elite all-stars, Jane was unmatched in what she unleashed this past year. Her performance in Stars (AdultTime), a film based on Jane Wilde’s own life story, was one of the most powerful and critically acclaimed of the year. She also held nothing back in terms of her hardcore skills, delivering terrific showings in movies like Dark Meat Frenzy (Jules Jordan Video) and Gape For Days (Evil Angel). From start to finish, there simply wasn’t anyone doing Porn in 2022 better than Jane Wilde.

About this year’s Top 10 rankings…

This is my ninth year putting this Top 10 Best Female Pornstar countdown together for Die-Screaming. Each year, I mention how it’s always frustrating to limit this thing down to just ten ladies and how stupid it is as a concept to rank people against other people. I continue to do it, though, because these rankings are a good way to spotlight some of the most elite talent in porn and celebrate their accomplishments of the past year that made them stand out from their peers.

The rankings you see up above aren’t random. As I do each year, I score performers against a battery of 12 separate categories. The women with the 10 highest scores are the ones you see above, ranked based on their point totals. And while I won’t give you my exact scoring methodology because of me being as asshole porn blogger, I can give you a few statistical tidbits…

• This year, 138 women were scored in consideration for the title of Best Female Pornstar of the year. Five performers were each less than 3 points away from making the Top 10.
• 50% of the women featured on this year’s Top 10 were also included on last year’s.
• 11.3 points separated positions 1 thru 10.
• The smallest point difference between any two consecutive positions was 4 and 5, which had just a tenth of a point gap between them. The largest point spread was between positions 2 and 3, with a distance of 3.6 points between the two.
