Toy Fair 2012: Playmates TMNT Toys

So, because this isn’t exactly “breaking news”, it’s possible many of you have already seen these images of the new TMNT toys.  This new wave of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys was unveiled last month at Toy Fair 2012, held in New York City.  Scheduled to be released in August, the toy line is based off of the upcoming TMNT CGI show that is set to debut on Nickelodeon later this year (a sneak peak of the show is scheduled for March 31st).  While they all look pretty cool, perhaps the most bad ass of them all is the Sewer playset, which is the size of a large toddler or kind of smallish dwarf.  Also, Kaang’s robotic body looks much better than the horrible and weird looking thing from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon (although, not as horrible or as weird as THIS).  Just saying.  Anyway, here are the images, for those of you who’s not yet seen them or for those who want to see them again.
