An 83-year-old Iowa man was busted for prostitution after he offered his sexual services to a 34-year-old woman who owed him money. Ben Clifford Dawson, a candidate for the city council, propositioned Melissa Drew several times in the past five months, according to a police report. The elderly fellow loaned Drew around $7,000, and offered to shave off some of that money if she would “allow him to perform sexual favors upon her for his pleasure,” the report stated. Dawson repeatedly offered his services to Drew on the phone and at least once in person. At one point he grabbed Drew and “began to kiss her neck against
her will,” the report said. Dawson was charged with two aggravated misdemeanor charges, along with prostitution and intent to commit sexual abuse, police said.
At least three other women have claimed to have had similar experiences with Dawson, the police report said. We’re not sure what lies in wait for this fine upstanding citizen, but I think his chances of being elected to the city council might be a little blemished. I don’t know what the problem is considering all political figures like to screw people. At least Dawson is not only screwing people but he’s also giving them a nice big kiss.
