Digital Playground's Top Guns is the most anticipated porn release of the year

Top Guns, the latest big-budget porn release from Digital Playground, is the talk of the adult film industry. Packed with top talent, superb sex scenes, and lots of flashy (and expensive) special effects, this porn-spoof of the 80′s classic Top Gun is one of the most anticipated releases of the year. I recently had a chance to view Top Guns and am ready to share my thoughts on this much hyped flick.
Because Top Guns has much in common with the legendary Pirates porno films (same studio, much of the same cast, big budget, etc), the two movies have been compared to each other quite a bit. However, make no mistake, Top Guns is not Pirates. Really, it’s not even in the same league. Pirates (both the original and the sequel) boasted a rich plot with much more acting, action, and character development than almost any other porn. Top Guns, on the other hand, is more of a traditional porn (granted, with a much larger budget) filled more with hardcore sex scenes than anything else.

That being said, Top Guns is still an excellent porn and well worth your time. As usual, Jesse Jane delivers her unique brand of bad-ass personality, stunning looks, and insane ninja-fucking that her fans have come to love and respect. Director Robby D. brings his A-game, backed by a million dollar budget and access to three real fighter jets that were used in filming the movie. Combine all that with top-tier talent like Kayden Kross, Riley Steele, Stoya, and Selena Rose on board, this thing is an absolute can’t miss.

As I mentioned before, the plot of Top Guns is based loosely on Tom Cruise’s Top Gun. In this version, a pair of women flight teams go head-to-head against a pair of men teams. Or something like that. There’s lots of jet fighters and cockpits and mirrored sunglasses and fighter pilot lingo. And stuff. But mostly, Top Guns is all about fucking. And more specifically, it’s all about watching uberly-hot women who know more about hot sex than possibly anyone else on the planet engage in six scenes of hardcore action. The highlight of the film involves a five girl, one guy orgy that takes place in an Air Force hanger.
While Jesse Jane is undoubtedly the star of this film, it’s really Kayden Kross who steals the show. In her one-on-one scene with Scott Nails, Kross provides a detailed demonstration of why she is one of the most talented women currently working in the business. Considering that each of the scenes in Top Guns is top-notch and that she is co-starring with some of the most accomplished names in the industry, her ability to still make such an impression is remarkable and speaks volumes about her star power.
All told, Top Guns does manage to live up to the considerable and well-deserved hype surrounding it. While it’s no Pirates, Top Guns is one of the best all-around pornos to be released this year. Hats off to Robby D. and Digital Playground for producing a truly outstanding piece of work with this film. If you see one porn this year, take the safe bet and make it Top Guns. You won’t be disappointed.
