PEZ Dispenser Reveals Look of Amazing Spider-Man Lizard

Since it was announced that The Lizard would be the villain in the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man movie, fans have been eagerly awaiting the first glimpse of what the character would look like.  Now, in a most unusual and probably unintended way, we have a really good idea of what to expect.  Officially licensed Amazing Spider-Man PEZ dispensers have begun to surface in the wild, with one of those dispensers being The Lizard.  Yes, it only provides a look at his head and torso, however, it’s the best look that we’ve had at this latest big-screen Spidey villain.  I’m certain that somewhere, right now, there’s a Marvel marketing executive sitting at her desk and writing a very nasty email to the folks at PEZ.  Or, alternatively, getting fired.

The Amazing Spider-Man, a reboot of the franchise, is scheduled to open in theaters on July 3rd.  The film stars Andrew Garfield in the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Rhys Ifan as Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard.  What are your thoughts on this first look at The Lizard?  What you were expecting?  Let us know in the comments below.
