Heath, Deborah & Adolf Hitler Campbell
Welcome to New Jersey, home of the Sopranos and now a “brilliant” (I mean that sarcastically) New Jersey couple who gave their three children Nazi-inspired names. Fortunately, state officials stepped in and decided to take custody of Heath and Deborah Campbell’s newborn child Hons, who was born in Hunterdon Medical Center. Why you ask? Well the couple, who had previous run-ins with officials, decided to name their other three children Adolf Hitler, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler, named after Heinrich Himmler.
The parents made headlines in 2009 when a supermarket refused to decorate a birthday cake for their son Adolf. Eventually the state ended up taking custody of their other children nearly two years ago claiming they were in danger because of previous violence in the Campbell home. The removal had nothing to do with their names but rather it was in response to abuse and neglect. Go figure, winners who chose names like that for their kids aren’t exactly Ozzie and Harriet material. The Campbell’s are due in court Monday to try to regain custody of their newborn.
