Next Friday Night, the porn parody of Katy Perry’s hit Last Friday Night music video, represents one of Alektra Blue’s strongest acting roles yet. Directed by Barrett Blade, Next Friday Night is a lighthearted, entertaining, and just plain ol’ fun romp of a porn parody that does a great job of capturing the look and feel of Katy Perry’s video. Alektra Blue, with the help of some crazy 80′s inspired costumes and a full-face retainer plays the role of geeky Kathy Beth Terry, Katy Perry’s alter ego in her video, better than Katy Perry. While there was never any question of Alektra Blue’s stunning beauty or sexual abilities, Next Friday Night stands as a testament to her acting talents and her ability to carry a plot-driven film.
Before getting too far into the review, if you haven’t yet seen Katy Perry’s Last Friday Night video, it’s worth taking the time to watch it first…

Alektra Blue
The movie opens with Marco Rivera and Nikki Delano, who plays the role of an preppy and uber-popular recent high school grad, having sex in her bed. After much sucking, licking, and fucking in all the usual positions, Nikki’s “dad” walks in on the two and, upon seeing his little princess in such a compromising position, looses his mind. So now, as punishment, Nikki’s much anticipated graduation party is cancelled. However, Nikki and her friend Kaylani Lei have a plan, tricking the nerdy and extremely unpopular Alektra Blue into hosting the party, with the promise of giving her a makeover and the chance to win over the high-school stud, Bill Bailey. This leads to the second scene of the movie, a sex fantasy acted out in the mind of Alektra Blue, which features Bill Bailey having his way again, and again, and again with Alektra. Think knight in shining armor, billowing lace curtains, and a big ass castle. And the scene ending with Bailey blowing his load all over Alektra’s stomach.
Back to reality. So now Alektra is having this party, which is the setting for the remaining three sex scenes. The first of these features some lesbian action, with Tiffany Taylor and Stevie Shae using Alektra’s parents’ bed to do their fucking. This scene is probably one of the most exciting of the film, featuring all sorts of sucking, licking, and even some anal fingering action. As the party rages on, Kaylani Lei gets friendly with two-thirds of the band…by asking them if they’re in a band. This clever pickup line leads to her getting double-teamed in the band’s van, with Kaylani using her mouth and pussy to service both of them. This excitement ends just in time for Alektra to get the phone call from her parents, letting her know that they would be home from their European vacation early.
Upon learning of this news, everyone scatters. It’s at this moment that Alektra Blue learns who her real friends are. And by “friends”, I mean friend. Only Seth Gamble, the uber-geek, remains to help the newly-hot Alektra clean up the mess just in time. However, after cleaning up from the party, there’s still a few minutes before Alektra’s parents return home. And, of course, Ms. Blue uses this time to fuck the holy hell out of Seth Gamble, showing her true appreciation for his friendship and after learning of his secret crush on her. Throw in a giant stuffed panda bear and this scene does the best job of capturing the feel of two teenage outcasts having sex for the first time…and enjoying every erotic second of the experience.
While not her most erotic work, Next Friday Night does represent the best acting performance that I’ve yet seen from Alektra Blue. Combined with Seth Gamble’s equally amazing performance in his role, along with the superb direction of Barret Blade and the Stormy Daniels scripted story, and Next Friday Night comes away as one of the most fun and entertaining porn parodies of the new year. Any fan of Alektra Blue would be well advised to own a copy of Next Friday Night, as it truly is one of the best films she’s starred in so far. And, c’mon, it’s a porn parody based on a Katy Perry music video. What’s not to like about that? Highly recommended.
