A sketch of Hawk and Dove that Liefeld did on his iPad
In case you haven’t yet heard, super-megastar artist Rob Liefeld is returning to his DC roots, taking up the penciling duties on Hawk and Dove, a series that will be part of the DC Comics Relaunch in September. Before becoming the artist/writer of New Mutants, which launched him into celebrity status, Liefeld worked over at DC Comics and one of his biggest gigs for them was drawing the Hawk and Dove mini-series. That was back in 1987. So, more than 20 years later, there’s quite a bit of buzz and hype surrounding his return to the now-ongoing Hawk and Dove series in September.
Anyway, over on his blog, Liefeld posted some sketches and unfinished Hawk and Dove production art. Then I stole it from his site and posted it here. So what do you think? About Liefeld’s Hawk and Dove stuff, not me stealing his shit.
