Do you take MeekaKitty as your Star Trek Girl?
As a die-hard Star Wars loyalist, I will never understand the above video. In fact, I find most of it offensive. Keep in mind, I once did a shot of tequila, vomited/sneezed it back up through my nose and back into the shot glass…then did the shot again. That experience didn’t haunt me as much as this video. It’s spookily annoying.
Unless you’re one of them Trek-y people, I guess. In that case, then I suppose this video (created by the insanely talented Meekakitty) is the stuff of your wet dreams. Or maybe it scare you, too. I don’t know. I still struggle to understand the mindsets of Star Trek fans. At any rate, you can bet that “Star Trek Girl” will be one of the viral successes of the year. Anytime you combine nerd-bait with dancing girls, the Internet tends to reward you with lots of hits. And endless parodies.
Prepare yourselves. I’m sure that none of us have seen or heard the last of “Star Trek Girl.” What are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments.
