The 2012 AVN Award nominations were released on Monday and in looking through the huge list of award categories and nominees, Jenna Haze stands out as one of the most recognized talents in the industry. In addition to being arguably the biggest and most successful name currently working in porn, Jenna has also transitioned successfully to the role of director, making movies for Jennaration X Studios (which she founded and owns). That high-quality performance and work ethic both in front and behind the camera has paid of for Jenna Haze, as her and her films received a total of sixteen AVN Award nominations and an induction into the AVN Hall of Fame.

It’s worth noting that Jenna Haze directed each and every one of the scenes and films listed above, including the ones in which she was a performer. And, as I mentioned above, Jenna was also selected to be one of the inductees into the AVN Hall of Fame. In order to be considered for an induction into the Hall of Fame, a performer has to be active in the adult industry for a minimum of ten years. Jenna Haze hit this ten year milestone earlier this year and, at the first opportunity, she received her induction into the Hall. Were that the only honor that she received, it still would have been a major accomplishment, but backed by her sixteen AVN Award nominations on top of that and its very clear that Haze remains one of the most powerful and successful personalities currently working in the industry.
The 2012 AVN Awards will take place on January 21st in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
