Axel Braun is working on an X-Men porn parody
When it comes to porn parodies, especially porn parodies based off of comic book characters, no one in the business does it better than director Axel Braun. A self professed “comic geek”, Braun has behind such hits as Batman XXX, and Spider-Man XXX. Additionally, the director is also working on porn parody spoofs of The Avengers and is preparing to release his much anticipated Star Wars XXX. Now we can add two more highly anticipated projects to that list, X-Men and Wolverine.
While we’ve been hearing rumors and soundbites about both of these projects for some time, there has never been very many details attached. However, it now appears that Braun is getting close to beginning filming on both X-Men XXX and Wolverine XXX, to be distributed by Vivid as part of its SuperXXXHeroes line of films. Braun has issued a press released announcing a casting call for all parts in both films. To quote from that statement…
“Vivid Entertainment and award-winning director Axel Braun will be holding open auditions Monday, Nov. 21, for two new SuperXXXHeroesparodies.
Braun dives into the Marvel universe with hardcore parodies of X-Men XXX: A Porn Parody and Wolverine XXX: A Porn Parody.
Auditions will take place at the Vivid offices at 3599 Cahuenga Boulevard West [Los Angeles, CA]. Actors who want to participate need to contact producer Shylar Cobi at shylarcobi@gmail.com”
As I’ve said before, a porn parody based around the X-Men is a no-brainer. There is an over abundance of uber-sexy characters to choose from, many of which have long been the subjects of erotic fan art, fan fiction, and wet dreams. So which of these sexy mutants is Braun planning on including in his films? Well, he mentions several in the same press release, those being…

Who will be playing Jean Grey in the X-Men porn parody?
I have to admit, Apocalypse kind of threw me for a loop. While he’s absolutely a character I would love to see brought to life on the big screen, I just never imagined that he would be making his on-screen debut in a porn film. It’s not surprising, however, that of all the porn parodies being made these days, that Apocalypse and Mister Sinister would be first appearing in an Axel Braun film. As I mentioned before, the man has a lifelong appreciation of comic books (something I think anyone reading this site can respect) and the amount of detail and respect to source material that Braun puts in all of his comic porn parodies has become something of a trademark of his. As further proof of that, here’s a quote from Mr. Braun, talking about his Wolverine XXX film…
“I’m staying true to the comics. When the first X-Men movie came out, I kept waiting for Logan to put on the yellow-blue costume, and as a fan I was utterly disappointed that it never happened. My parody will definitely rectify that.”
It’s that kind of thing that makes me really excited for both of these films. As a life-long comic geek myself, I’m excited to see these characters in the hands of a director like Axel Braun. And, yes, to see who will be playing Jean Grey, Storm, and Emma Frost. And the prospect of having Deadpool in a porn film? That’s just something that needs to happen. There’s no release date for either of these films yet, but we should probably expect both in the second half of next year.
