Already one of the biggest names in porn, Alexis Texas has made the move to the mainstream movie world. On July 5th, Breaking Glass Pictures will be releasing Bloodlust Zombies, a horror-comedy that tells the tale of a mini-zombie outbreak in an office building. Alexis Texas stars in the movie, her first non-porn acting job. Alexis Texas fighting zombies? Yes, please.
In a press release, Breaking Glass Pictures describes Bloodlust Zombies like this…
“Like typical 9-to-5 cubicle dwellers, the workers at Zlantoff Industries are just counting down the minutes and seconds by the end of the day. And just like any office, mishaps are bound to happen: spilt coffee, jammed fax machines … mutant viral outbreaks. When a chemical spill in the lab on an otherwise uneventful weekday puts the office on emergency lockdown, the staff unwittingly becomes the first test subjects for an experimental, biological weapon—and if the mutant virus doesn’t spur cannibalistic murder, the passive aggressive office banter will.”
And if that wasn’t enough to get your heart pumping with anticipation, just check out the trailer…
Obviously, this film will excite all sorts of people. For starters, fans of Alexis Texas (of which there are many) should be eager to see the porn starlet in her first “mainstream” role. And fans of cheesy zombie movies (of which there are many) will also probably get a kick out of the movie because, hey, it’s a movie about zombies. While the acting and plot of Bloodlust Zombies does seem kind of, um, low budget and hokey, it doesn’t matter. This film has two very important things that make it watchable; zombies and Alexis Texas.
And who knows? Maybe this film will be the spark that sets off Alexis Texas’s acting career. With her already-massive fan base, name recognition, and award winning ass (yes, her ass really did win an award), it wouldn’t be a stretch at all to see her start headlining some otherwise forgettable film. Throwing Alexis Texas into the cast of any movie would probably be enough to trick a small army of horny teenagers into seeing the film at least once. Until then though, we get to see a blood covered, axe wielding Alexis Texas kill zombies. There’s nothing about that last sentence that I don’t like.
